PALS is a social club for individuals age 13 and up with intellectual disabilities, PALS offers quarterly themed dances, recreational activities, a newsletter and more! The annual fee is $20.00 for Torrance residents and $25.00 for non-residents. For more information about how to join, please contact Program Coordinator Phil Duthie at 310/618-2934.

  • A Visit from the Torrance Firefighters for some Wet Fun with the Fireman!

Packets for the fundraising ‘Fun Walk’ will be distributed in August.

Kiwanis 2017 Community Program Award

On June 15th, 2017 Friends of Torrance Exceptional Athletes was honored by Torrance Kiwanis International with a special community service award.

This wonderful community service award was presented to FTEA, by the honorable Mayor Furey and the honorable Kiwanis President Milton Herring. Receiving the award on behalf of Friends of Torrance Exceptional Athletes was FTEA President Morrie Rice.
