Designate an Athlete using PayPal Donation

So you want to make a donation and designate your donation for your special Athlete participating in this year’s FunWalk?

Here is how you do that.  First of all click on the donate button.  That will take you to the secure Paypal,  donation form.   Which looks like the image below,  if you are a regular user of Paypal your screen may look different with your Paypal login name as a  option.

Though you may choose to do so, you are not required to be signed-up with Paypal.  If you do not have a Paypal account you may pay with any major credit card.  No Paypal account, no problem just fill in your donation amount and your credit card information.

Then after you have filled in your donation amount and your payment method, click on the continue button which says something to the effect of  ‘Review your Donation and Continue’.  That will take you to a screen that looks like the image below where you have a chance to review your donation amount and to ‘ Designate an Athlete’ on your donation form.

When you look at the review donation form, on Paypal screen, you will see the link shown below, ie  Designated Athlete, or None.

Click on that  link or the blue-plus link to open a small text box.

We ask that you write in the name of the  Athlete that you want to designate  for the  FunWalk, or that you  write in None,  if the donation is a general donation.

It is very important that you Designate the Athlete of your choice BEFORE you click  on the Donate  Now button.

Once you click on that Donate Now button, you cannot go back, as the transaction is processed at that time.

Please note that ‘Delegating an Athlete’ is for the purpose of an Athlete receiving credit for the Donation in our annual FunWalk, as prizes will be awarded to the Athletes that collect the most donations.  All funds collected are used for Special Needs Sports Programs supported by FTEA.

Thank you so much for your support of Friends of Torrance Exceptional Athletes Inc.
