Carol Schreiner, one of our FTEA board members, visited with some of the Torrance Firefighters from Station House 2 that were part of the crew who were at our Family Picnic last September.

Scott Arnold and Jon Shiah are the firefighters who were there, along with Tom Martin who was the engineer, (he’s retired now).

Carol texted the Captain who was on the engine that came to our picnic and let him know she’d be dropping off a Thank You card at their station.  She didn’t expect him to come out, but he did and she had a nice chat with him  & did a quick little chalk artwork while she was there.  It was his idea to hold the card for a photo.

He said they are looking forward to joining our group again!
